Business Development Manager (BDM) – IT System Integration

Role Overview

We are looking for one Business Development Manager to help expand our business into new locations. The selected candidate can be based in Ludhiana, Delhi NCR, Mumbai, or Patna and will drive business development in their respective city and surrounding areas. You will identify clients, present our IT solutions, build relationships, and close deals — primarily with schools, educational institutions, and small-to-medium businesses.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach potential clients in your assigned location
  • Present and explain IT products — websites, school management systems, mobile apps, IT infrastructure services
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers
  • Coordinate with technical team to share client requirements
  • Prepare proposals and follow up to close sales
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets
  • Arrange and conduct product demonstrations (online or in-person)
  • Share market feedback and competitor insights with the team

Requirements

  • Experience: 1–2 years in business development, sales, or client acquisition (IT or education sector preferred)
  • Education: Any graduate (BBA, MBA, or B.Tech is a plus)
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal and written English; knowledge of local language (Hindi, Punjabi, Marathi, etc.) is an advantage
  • Basic IT Knowledge: Understanding of websites, software, apps, IT infrastructure, cloud computing — enough to explain solutions simply
  • Travel: Willing to travel within assigned city and nearby areas
  • Self-motivated: Ability to work independently and manage own schedule
Preferred (Good to Have)
  • Existing contacts with schools or educational institutions in the target location
  • Experience selling IT or software solutions
  • Familiarity with CRM tools
